Tropical Disturbance 98W (LPA) relocated slightly to the northeast while off the Caroline Islands...likely to become a Tropical Cyclone late today or Saturday. Various Forecast Guidance Models are showing a possible path either towards Northern Luzon or Taiwan Area between Sep 27-28 (Tue-Wed) next week.

Meanwhile, the Inter-Tropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) is currently active and bringing scattered to widespread rains & thunderstorms across most parts of the Philippines.

Residents and visitors along Luzon should closely monitor the progress of 98W (LPA).
