A new Tropical Disturbance 98W (LPA) located over the Caroline Islands has started to consolidate...likely to become a Tropical Cyclone within the next 12 to 24 hours. Various Forecast Guidance Models are showing a possible path towards Northern Luzon-Taiwan Area between Sep 27-28 (Tue-Wed) next week.
Meanwhile, the Inter-Tropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) is currently active and bringing scattered to widespread rains & thunderstorms across most parts of the Philippines.
Residents and visitors along Luzon should closely monitor the progress of 98W (LPA).
