BREAKING NEWS: As of 9:00 AM today, Eye of FANAPI has moved across the mountains of Eastern Taiwan, just SSW of Hualien City. Currently initiating hourly web & email advisories (except 12 AM PhT) on TY FANAPI (INDAY).

The core of Typhoon FANAPI (INDAY) has made landfall over Eastern Taiwan, south of Hualien City...circulation starting to deteriorate as it moves WSW across the mountains of Central Taiwan. Typhoon Conditions continues across Eastern Taiwan.
Residents and visitors along Taiwan, Fujian and Eastern Guangdong should closely monitor the progress of FANAPI.
