Typhoon2000 (T2K) NEWS (Monday Sep 20 2010):
We apologized for the non-issuance of T2K's noontime advisory - which was disrupted by a strong thunderstorm that produced some small hails and wind gusts reaching 45 km/hr here in Naga City. That event affected our power supply, although we have a standby generator...it also caused some problems after the electric diode conked out. T2K is now ending the 6-hrly web & email advisories (except 12 AM PhT) on TS FANAPI (INDAY) as the system dissipates north of Hong Kong.
FANAPI (INDAY) MAX WIND SPEED PER AGENCY:
+ USA (JTWC/1-min avg): 95 km/hr
+ Japan (JMA/10-min avg): 85 km/hr
+ Korea (KMA/10-min avg): 90 km/hr
+ Taiwan (CWB/10-min avg): 95 km/hr
+ Beijing (NMC/2-min avg): 85 kph
+ Hong Kong (HKO/10-min avg): 105 km/hr
