Current Status | Super Typhoon NEPARTAK (BUTCHOY) weakens further as it makes landfall over the mid-eastern coast of Taitung County, Taiwan, The rainbands associated with the southern outer circulation of Nepartak are currently affecting the Batanes Province.
This typhoon will continue to enhance the Southwest Monsoon (Habagat) and bring frequent "on-and-off" rains with thunderstorms and gusty winds across the western sections of Luzon and Visayas including Metro Manila today and tomorrow. |
