Current Status and Outlook | Tropical Depression (TD) 24W [LUIS] upgraded from Tropical Disturbance 92W (LPA) and is currently lingering along the northwest coast of Taiwan…likely to exit the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) tomorrow, Saturday (Aug 25). *Since it will not directly affect the Philippines, this is now the Final StormWatch on TD 24W (LUIS) This depression will continue to enhance the Southwest Monsoon (Habagat) and bring isolated, scattered to occasional moderate to heavy rains and thunderstorms across the western sections of Central and Northern including Batanes abd Babuyan Islands through the weekend. |
