Tropical Depression SOUDELOR (GORIO) now dissipating as it approaches the coast of Northern Vietnam.

*This is the Final Advisory on this system.

*Kindly refer to your local warnings & bulletins issued by your country's official weather agency. This advisory is intended for additional information purposes only.

+ Forecast Outlook: SOUDELOR is expected to make landfall over Northern Vietnam tonight. Due to land interaction, the system shall weaken rapidly and dissipate.

+ Effects: SOUDELOR's circulation remains compact with its rain bands displaced to the West and SW...spreading across Northern Vietnan. Moderate to heavy rains with winds & squalls plus thunderstorms can be expected along these bands. 1-day rainfall accumulations of 150 up to 250 mm can be expected along the storm's rain bands. Residents in low-lying areas & steep slopes must remain alert & seek evacuation for possible life-threatening flash floods, mudslides & landslides due to the anticipated heavy rains brought about by this system. Precautionary measures must be initiated if necessary.

HAS CONTINUED TO WEAKEN AS IT APPROACHES VIETNAM. THE LOW LEVEL
CIRCULATION CENTER HAS LOST ITS SYMMETRIC SHAPE, AND HAS BECOME
DEFORMED. BASED ON THE CURRENT INTENSITY OF 25 KNOTS AND THE
EXPECTATION OF CONTINUED WEAKENING IN THE NEXT 12 HOURS, THIS IS THE
FINAL WARNING ON THIS SYSTEM BY THE JOINT TYPHOON WARNING CENTER
(NAVMARFCSTCEN). THE SYSTEM WILL BE CLOSELY MONITORED FOR SIGNS OF
